The Sky Is Falling-The Sky Is Falling
There is a link to the document. Before anyone gets upset, they should at least read the Executive Summary and the Executive Director's Recommendations.
There is no scientific or political consensus on CO2 as a greenhouse gas and global warming. On the other hand, there is no disagreement on the need to reduce emissions of methane, NO2, SO2, CFC, VOC, soot particulate, etc, etc.

Lake Jackson - The only place I know where This Way and That Way are more than a direction you point your finger.

I put this e-mail out to our members and friends of Citizens for a Sound Economy. I'm the field director for CSE in Texas. Sorry about the absence of an e-mail address. It is cjones@cse.org or cjones@tstar.net and phone is 830-798-1134 as stated in the e-mail. Thanks to anymouse for posting this and thanks for any help from FReepers!

Please call the TNRCC Commissioners and the Governor's office and voice your opposition to implementation of Kyoto without ratification by the Senate and PLEASE, Please let us know what they tell you by emailing me e-mail me at .
This can't be true, could only happen in California. Oh well, last
summer you were warned that you were next, so I won't
bother being too sympathetic, since it is now your ox being
gore'd(pun intended).

Texans need to shed themselves of Sheila Jackson Lee. Ms. Lee is a big advocate of Kyoto...money for the United Nations, Africa and herself.

Look, just think of Kyoto as a way to prevent Texas of stinking up the atmosphere.
I've got a better idea. Why doesn't California just knuckle under and fix their own Energy problems without Texas et al bailing you out??? Put a little pressure on the Greenies. Oh, I forgot, they are the reason you don't have enough energy now.

I have been to Lake Jackson once, I thought it was utterly beautiful and picturesque. I'm sorry to hear it has fallen on hard times.

Coming to Texas, say to Dallas-FT.Worth and other large metropolitan areas requires a gas mask with .01 micron filters. Ever hear about Houston? Gas masks don't work there.
You just keep believin' your Liberal Media there "Buckeroo". The media campaign keeps the real scum out of Texas. . .
To: snopercod; Jeff Head
Could you do me a favor and make sure Jeff Head see's this link? Most likely he has, but I would like his take on it.

This is not good!
I'll go over to Austin for this, do a news story and lend my support to CSE, FR and all my fellow freedom loving Texans while I'm at it.
