[history]
Law-enforcement agencies on both sides of the Atlantic are trying to establish a connection between would-be shoe-bomber Richard Reid and Osama bin Laden's terrorist network, Al Qaeda. One possible link: suspected "20th hijacker" Zacarias Moussaoui. Investigators suspect Moussaoui may have introduced Reid to members of a terrorist cell in the Netherlands, who could have provided him with the bomb-stuffed hiking boots he tried to ignite aboard a transatlantic American Airlines flight on Dec. 22.

Sorry about the formatting. MSNBC and Newsweek make it exceedingly difficult with their page source.

Thanks for the link. It is truly frightening about Reid. It makes you wonder how many more Reids there are out there...

Indexing. Don't bother, we can't post Newseek articles. It'll get pulled.
It's a Washington Post publication.

I post Newsweek articles all the time and have yet to have them pulled. Interesting. Proof is in the pudding, I guess.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be so abrupt. If I post an article from the Washington Post, I'll post just a few paragraphs, and then do the link thing. But articles from MSNBC and Newsweek, I post the whole thing, and have yet to have them pulled...

No problem. I had thought Newsweek was included.

It makes me wonder if McVeigh was recruited by an al-Quaida operatative as an ally and/or patsy. It ain't rocket science to see they recruit the young and disaffected. Almost without a doubt we will find some al-Quaida link to both far right (neo-Nazi) and far left (eco-terrorist) organizations.
