The violations in Guantanamo Bay will undermine the ability of our governments to ensure adequate treatment the next time our fellow citizens are captured and held. Adequate treatment like killing them and dragging their corpses through the streets? Please. When have US PoW's ever been treated adequately?

The last country to provide --- to certain American service men who were P.O.W.'s --- what you may call "fair treatment," was actually Germany during World War II. Hasn't happened since.
