Gov. Davis connections to Enron:
"You recently had a meeting with Governor Davis in Sacramento?"
"I did."
"Is Governor Davis correct in saying that you told him that things are going to get a lot better because Pat Wood is going to be on the commission?"
"I think he's told me that. He said he met with Pat Wood and he was convinced that, in fact, things would get better with him on the commission. ... He was convinced that Pat Wood would take a lot more proactive role in trying to help California solve its problem."

The theme of their meeting could be "On the Way Out in 2002."

"I think you need to keep in mind also, for better or for worse, we had a lot of access in the Clinton administration. The plot thickens.

I know the source is PBS, but 'thinking' people can see the direction of questions and discern the 'truth' in the answers.

Great Find!! I just sent an e-mail to an investigative/political TV reporter in ABQ attaching the article and suggesting he interview Bill Richardson (now running for Governor of NM) about his multiple contacts with Enron.

How come there is not nearly as much interest in Gov. Gray's meeting with Ken Lay during the California Energy 'crisis'(?) as there is in his contacts with Bush officials. Must be partisan, don't you think? {;~)

I notice that the California Attorney General's name didn't come up!
And the other guy- Spike - wasn't mentioned!

The liberal media is working overtime trying to scrub all record of the Rat connections to Enron. They'll probably bury Governor Gray Davis' meeting with Ken Lay for good measure in a one sentence story in the back page to keep up the appearance all the blame is on President Bush. The Rats are loaded for bear and goin' Bush hunting and the trophy they want is his head mounted to their wall with the tag affixed beneath it: "Killed by Enron."

Thanks for the post. This just gets deeper and deeper every day. Hope all this comes out to the general public.

Good idea!!!

Why do you mention Lockyer, and who is Spike?

Great post! We are finding that everyone has dealt with Enron--the tentacles are far-reaching. The dems are going to be silent after a while because this is a financial scandal, and not a political one, at least with the Bush admin.
