This is the kind of LAW ENFORCEMENT that the WACO and RUBY RIDGE murders were made of. It is my sence that most of the agents working for the ATF/FBI/IRS work there for one primary reason, THEY THRIVE ON THE EUPHORIA OF THE POWER OF THEIR POSITION. It is most unfortunate that these are exactly the kinds of people our federally elected officials like in these agencies because they will enforce unconstitutional laws without question. AG Ashcroft ought to be catching hell over this incident. Until WE, the law abiding US citizens demand that the ATF/FBI/IRS thugs are held personally responsible for operating outside of the Constitutional law we can reasonably expect it will continue.

Yes, the worst will seek out these positions as a legal way to harass, and overpower people. Who would relish kicking in someones door to look for guns? They aren't catching a real criminal (weapons charges are a statute crime). They aren't very likely actually preventing a crime, as much as they claim to be. They are just kicking in doors in the middle of the night as an intruder with a badge.
These people also get strength in their numbers. And like SS officers will say 'I"m only doing my job.' And each time one of them gets away with it another will try to take it a step further. Where are all those people who insisted that Bush waived a magic wand and cleaned out the rogue agents? I guess he missed a few.

AG Ashcroft ought to be catching hell over this incident. He should be but he won't.
Remember in July when the swat team surrounded Richard Robinson's house in Lubbock? They shot 369 rounds into and around the house. Even killed one of the officers. Robinson never fired a shot. He was wounded.
Remember when we all watched Beck be burned to death on TV, Aug. 31?
Then there is the Rainbow Farm guys that were killed.
They aren't going to do anything. Nothing has changed except for getting worse.
