All RATS except for Pat Buchanan, Fred Thompson, Jack Kemp, Kay Bailey Hutchison and Tom Davis.
I'll be shoveling snow as the RATS are shoveling the $h!+.

Today's lefty spin on Enron
Since the leftys have been unable to find a 'quid', much less a quid pro quid, the focus on Enron has changed. Campaign Finance Reform is secondary to, 'what about the poor employees'. Henry 'my nostrils are my garage also' Waxman sent up the trial balloon earlier this week.
When Enron called in their chit and asked for help from GWs cabinet, they shot 'em down. So much for buying favors. But now Waxman and the rest are crying over how the Bush administration should have done something for the employees.

It will be interesting how the Enron story will be presented today. In mid-week the story was "Enrongate" and how it was going to topple the Bush administration. By yesterday most of the "pack journalists" had actually taken the time to look into the vast influence Enron had with both political parties including the previous administration. I suspect "Enrongate" will soon be relegated to the Business Section as executives from both the company and its auditors are brought to justice.

Hmmm...not so sure about Pat anymore He seems to be a union thug, but I did listen intently to his new book promos on the loss of American identity.

Timmy doesn't hit the local airwaves for 6 more minutes so I'll just sit here and watch this commie pinko Katrina Vanden Heuvel spew her venom on C-Span.

Katrina Vanden Heuvel of The Nation is on C-Span. She gets it! And boy is she steamed. She said so herself: Republicans "own" family values. Republicans "own" the flag.
She's such a nitwit, and soooo transparent. 30 seconds after she said people should use the internet to find out the truth about George Bush making secret deals with the Taliban, she was asked about the NYFD statue being altered to meet PC standards. She said (lied), she didn't know anything about the statue, and besides, the internet is full of right wing conspiracy theorists.
And yes, she threw in "This administration cares more about corporation fatcats than they do the little people."
A caller says, "I wondered who would be putting out such drivel, then I saw it was the editor of The Nation".

Re: Waxman.....Poor GW...damn if you do, damn if you don't....the Rats need to make up their minds.
I thought Sam and Kookie were going to devout the whole hour to Erongate?
For those of you who have the stomach to watch, keep those of us who don't, informed...please.

Ms. Vanden Huevel prfers not to be called a pinko or a liberal. She's a "progressive". I had to get a barf bag in order to hear her crap.
To: YaYa123
Please let me know what he says. I cannot stand to watch him any more. Since McCain just got back from Afghanistan, I imagine we will hear about that.
To: Miss Marple
Kristol is defining liberals and conservatives...blah blah....and I used to like this guy. He really sold his soul for McCain.
The liberal bias is not a myth, as Katrina said. Kristol said the right should not use "liberal bias" as an excuse.
Kristol says he hopes Iraq will topple on it's own, but irresponsible to assume that's going to happen. "SO IMPORTANT TO REMOVE SADDAM",he said, and it's going to take ground troops.

The WH should ban Paul Oneil (on FOX) from going on any show. This guy just is not very credible, sorry to say.

Still on ground troops, eh? I swear he is hoping for body bags to bash Bush with.
To: Miss Marple
I was right!!! Lieberman's trip to Afghanistan with McCain was the opening of his presidential campaign. Kristol says Lieberman will make a very important military speech, tomorrow. (Last week Daschle, this week Lieberman)...oh the democrats are on the presidential prowl)
C-Span will cover Lieberman's speech live at 1 pm, est.

I am proud to say that I have not turned on the TV to political news since Friday afternoon. It would be great if all freepers did that because their ratings would immediately fall into the toilet. They don't realize how much Republican political junkies play in their ratings war. Even with all that is beginning to be known about Enron and clinton, The NY Times continues today to blame President Bush. I refuse to watch this slime and I am normally an all-politics all-the-time person.

He's doing a great job with Sam on This Week! I was pleasantly surprised.

Tim Russert showed a quote by Waxman, saying (paraphrase) that the Whitehouse knew of Enron's problems and did nothing to help out thousands of people from losing their savings.
That's it?
That is Waxmans beef?
Waxman is upset because Bush didn't bring Big Government to step in and take control? I thought the Dems were supposedly against "more government". And here Waxman is complaining because there is not enough?
Waxmans an idiot!
And Bush has not a single connection to Enron as Clinton(s) did with Whitewater!
This is a ploy set up by the Dems and Hillary will show to be behind it!! What idiots!
To: Alas Babylon!
I overlooked your thread when I started one to announce Kristol's appearance on C-SPAN.
Wrist has been slapped and I won't let it happen again.
