There was a New York thread, prior to 9 /11 /01, where people who didn't live there, posted that N.Y.C. should be blown off the map. No nonSoutherners come on these threads, and say such things . There have been Cal. threads, where others posted similarly nasty things. Again, no one comes onto " SOUTHERN " threads, and says the same. It is ONLY Southern FREEPERS, who continually post derrogatory things, about others.
If people are on FR, it is clear that THEY haven't voted for Hitlery, Davis, etc. ! This; however, never seems to ener the minds of those , who paint with a broad brush, and accuse entire areas, with which they usually have very little knowledge about, of invidious behaviors.

You're wrong in saying that northerners don't come onto Southern threads talking trash. It happens on every single thread where we try to discuss Southern heritage issues. There is a group of Lincoln worshipping idiots who turn every discussion of Southern cultural issues into a slam fest.
If you don't like these threads, you have a funny way of showing it. if you didn't like this kind of topic, you would stay away. I think you get drunk and vent your spleen here.
