Not to be outdone by this 21st century update of the Medieval Christian Blood Libel, Saudi Arabian Television plans to air a 30-part miniseries, Horseman Without a Name, based on The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, a debunked Tsarist canard invoked by every Jew-hater of the 20th century.

I find this beyond dispicable. I'd like to see Prince Bandar, the Saudi ambassador to the US, explain this one.

There's a major irony here. The Jewish organizations that make it their business to fight antisemitism and nip it in the bud have been looking in the wrong direction. They have always been quick to blame conservatives, Christian "fundamentalists," Neo-Nazis, Skinheads, and the like. No doubt the Neo-Nazis and the Skinheads hate Jews, but they have never been more than marginal threats. The real danger all along has come from the left. Although many Jews supported Communism during the course of the twentieth century, the Communists regularly persecuted Jews. Why were the Jews so eager to emigrate from the Soviet Union? And now the Eurosocialists are showing their real contempt for Jews. And left-wing academics everywhere in America are contemptuous of Israel and solicitous of the poor, oppressed Palestians. The worst thing to happen to Israel in the past twenty years was bill clinton, yet most American Jews voted for him twice.

Maybe they will finally open their eyes and understand that there is no natural connection between a "chosen people" like the Jews and socialism. In the long run, socialism is their enemy, because it hates anyone who is marked as being different.

I thought this article from the SWC spelled out the virulent anti-semitism coming from nations that are supposed to be on the side of the US. I don't support either the ADL or the SWC either because of their left-wing slant, but this article exposes the "peace-loving" Moslem countries as being mired down with hate towards Jews, not just Israel. To make a TV series out of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion is appalling. It's the same point of view that blamed the WTC/Pentagon/Pennsylvania terrorism on the Jews.

Perhaps the comment 'shitty little country in reference to Israel, would not have had much impact had the statement been made about other countries.

But this is primarily because those other countries arent surrounded by their enemies who would gladly push them into the sea if they could get away with it. For someone so highly regarded by the French to make such a statement, it rather sounds like that individual is condoning such an action which sounds like something from a war which ended over 56 yrs ago.
