If there are all these cronies out there in the administration, don't you think the Bush people could have done a much better job keeping Enron afloat? After all, Enron paid all this money and didn't get anything for it.

Now, if you'll go back to the Clinton administration, you will see a $3 billion power plant project approved just 4 days after Enron made a $100,000 contribution to the DNC. Now that's what I call constituent service.

You'll also see that Mack McLarty went to work for Enron and you'll see that Ken Lay slept in the Lincoln Bedroom, as well as golfing with William Jefferson. Ken Lay was an energy advisor to the Clinton Whitehouse. Was he a "crony" back then or did he become one on January 20, 2001?

Good luck with the investigation.

Do you have a reference to Lay being an "energy advisor" to Clinton? Also, how does this relate to the energy crisis in California?

This morning I heard C-Span's Brian Lamb say they will cover ENRON every single day next week. He specifically mentioned hearings. The serial callers will light up the boards.

To bad they can't subpoena Ron Brown. Although his body still has a story to tell. Exhume and autopsy it.
