They're out there, running or helping them run.

Jan. 11, 2002 Henry "No FBI, I didn't pay-off my mistress with that much money" Cisneros: Vote drive untainted by politics - Democrat denies conflict of interest

(Why would anyone believe him?) [Excerpt] Cisneros said he expects Kirk's candidacy and a Democratic gubernatorial battle between two Hispanics -- Sanchez and former Texas Attorney General Dan Morales -- to generate a huge turnout for his party's primary.

But he insisted his voter registration drive will remain nonpartisan. (Just like a Jesse Jackson voter drive would be?)

"We're structured to make the effort in every part of Texas to every ethnic group and give every (eligible) Texan a chance to vote," he said. (Even those who have passed away.)

"I am certainly capable of separating my commitment to a nonpartisan voter registration effort from my individual support for candidates," he added. (...covering his nose as he spoke.)

But Weddington said it was "insulting for Cisneros to tell the people of Texas and the media that he honestly intends to conduct a nonpartisan voter registration campaign while he is enthusiastically supporting and endorsing Democrat candidates." (Gee, duh...that's what Dems do, they insult everyone's intelligence. Have you seen what's coming out of the schools?)

"It is hard to believe that Henry Cisneros will spend half his time working for Texas Democrats and half his time registering Republicans to vote against them," she added. (It's easy to believe he's taking notes from Gary Condit.)

"The conflict of interest is as plain as day, and it raises serious legal and ethical questions regarding the potential misuse of a nonprofit organization." [End Excerpt]

They're out there, running or helping them run.

You positively nailed it! They hope this is the start of their return to power.

Imagine having these people "in place," and then trying to install Hillary in the White House. Or John Edwards!
