Too bad good Moslems don't drink. Some of them did drink, supposedly in attempt to blend in better with American culture. Too bad this wasn't one of the times they were doing so.

I worked for many years in a drug and alcohol rehab. Many of our "regular" clients" were Black Muslims courtesy of the NY prison system.It used to break me up. They came in high and drunk (in violation of their expressed religion) but refused to eat a pancake if it was on the same plate as a sausage...

In our construction company , we are ALWAYS trying to hire ANY minority who will even fill out an applcation. AF-AM Muslims are more likely to do so, and we have had several acceptable employees. I have been exhausted trying to encouage them to participate in our 401K system, which they moraly reject because of "usery". But they look forward ( and seek) layoff and drawing unemployment.
