Let me ask you, though - this "closet Keyester" thing you've come up with - is that sort of like when people post on a thread about gays, people say that they are "obsessed" with the gay lifestyle, thereby implying that the "obsessed" is, in reality, attracted to the same sex himself? I mean, is your "closet Keyester" thing meant to do the same thing, like discourage people from expressing their opinion, for fear they will be suspected of obsessing about Alan Keyes? 'Cause I always thought that "You're obsessed with homosexuality!! Why??? Hmmmmmmmmm??????" thing was pretty stupid. Didn't you, Rowdee? I mean, it doesn't really make any sense at all.

There has never been a movement by Dr. Keyes or the Keyesters of which I am aware that there has been an attempt to stiffle people from expressing their opinion. You have only to look at this thread to see that there has been no such attempt--even those who some consider are bad-mouthing a much respected, much needed, and wise conservative voice.
Matter of fact, I've encouraged some of them to come back. And yes, I did have an ulterior motive--actually two--the first was obviously to keep the thread bumped to the top so even more people could about this new conservative show.And secondly I was hoping to show as many people as possible how postively ridiculous some people here at FR can be, when they are reduced to only name-calling and sliming without ever contributing much to the sharing or debating of ideas.
As it regards my posts vs yours, its like this....I was and am a proud, open supporter of Dr. Keyes--I wrote his name in during the 1992 elections even. It stands to reason that a long-term/long-time supporter, or others who support Dr. Keyes and his messages, would call others' attention to this thread to 'get the word out'.
On the other hand, you, Howlin, and South n north, have made no bones about how badly you detest him, the air he breathes, the clothes he wears, the way he smiles, the way he talks, etc., so it would take a far stretch of the imagination to believe that you'd willingly douse him with water should his 'guts be on fire'. Yet, here y'all are doing all you can to bump the thread time after time after time. here's something uniqueness at play here....even South n north threw that 'compassionate Christian' stuff out the window to get back in the game!
Howlin became so excited over giving something to the winner of the CLOSET KEYESTER Award that she sent me a picture of her familys' most treasured gifts from the old country by mistake. Poor dear, I don't think she realizes she spoiled all the fun for South n north.
You definitely had a point regarding your posting in response to questions; undoubtedly, others could use that same argument, so I won't go back and re-figure who's day #2's winner is....but dear lady, you are. A total of 23 today, 28 overall....that's just wonderful. Considering that I, an ardent supporter only had a grand total of 36, I'd say you definitely earned every bit of the title of CLOSET KEYESTER. Howlin tried--pretty darn good, if I do say so--she came in with ll today and 13 overall. South n north came up with 14 today and with the 10 yesterday she hits the scale with 24 total....close, dear, but no cigar!
BTW, at some point you asked me about it being boring to count this stuff.....nah; sometimes it just downright fun to see how many times the same people continually make arses of themselves....carrying on as though they really care about the possibility that someone might be swayed by hearing a real voice of conservatism. And I just like to keep the record straight.
Oh, and just so you don't get the idea that I go along with everything the good Dr. espouses, I do have a bitch with Dr. Keyes....I can't understand why he doggedly remains in a party where the elites don't doesn't want a voice of conscience, or God forbid, mention of the Constitution. As smart and intelligent as he is, surely he realizes that all the good ol' white elitist boys and their wimmen is gonna do is pat his head and tell the boy how good he talks.
