Remember, this Keyes/Kristol thing has been brought up repeatedly for a long time now and I resisted ever addressing it, even though I was thinking about how ill advised it is for the supporters of someone with "college age misbehavior" baggage to go there.
Finally, when the issue came up again the other day on a pretty heated thread I decided to make my point but I did intentionally leave out Bush's name hoping that everyone would take the hint and put an end to this issue once and for all.
I refrain from personal attacks and name calling. No matter how frustrated or upset I get with a Freeper, I try to address the issue rather than calling someone a bozo, an idiot, use profanity, etc. Now being human, I'm not perfect so I'm sure if you were to search through the thousands and thousands of posts I've made over the years you may come up with a couple of examples where I slipped. But to try to use this particular example to prove that I go around engaging in personal attacks is unfair, IMHO.
What you said was, "Where do I mention Bush?" People can decide for themselves whether that sounds like a denial. In any case, thank you for acknowledging the fact that he is the person you were talking about. It was quite clear it wasn't a random college student you were referring to - which is fine, but I really didn't get the, "Wha...? Who...? Did I actually say the name 'Bush'?" thing.

Did I say something about a personal attack? (I may have, though I have no memory of that.) What I said was that it was disingenuous to deny you were talking about the POTUS. That's not an accusation of a personal attack. It's an accusation that you were being insincere in your response about who you were talking about.
