PPS -- Actually, you're wrong anyway, about me trying to be a tad humorous. I was aiming at 'WAY humorous. But I had a point, and I stand by it.
The problem is, your "parody" is baseless. You made up the scenarios and responses to put Keyes down. If you have a point that's based in reality, why not address what Keyes actually said that you have a problem with?
Is it Keyes' staunch opposition to abortion that you dislike? Do you think he should soften his stance on this issue? Is it too "harsh"?
Or do you have a problem with Keyes' commentary after one presidential debate last year, when he was asked his opinion of Bush calling Jesus Christ his "favorite philosopher"? Keyes actually had the audacity to state his opinion that Bush was wrong; Jesus Christ was not a philosopher, he said, because philosophers are seekers of truth. Instead, "Jesus Christ is the Truth."
Those are the only things I can think of that your "parody" could possibly be addressing. Not exactly what I’d call “funny.”
