Cheers! *Hugs!* God Bless!! (How am I doing?)
Thank you.
P.S. When Alan Keyes is president, hell will be hosting the winter Olympics.
I assume you are referring to Alan Keyes actions towards the President. Care to give even one actual instance where he acted in such a manner?
Or are you depending on someone else's portrayal of Keyes' actions?
Or do you classify all criticism of Administration policy in those terms?
Or worst of all, are you just making it up, because you think it somehow strengthens your case against the man?
Come on, be fair and give me time, place, and the quote.
One other thing...can you explain to me why I should not think you are acting 'nasty, petty and condescending' towards Dr. Keyes?
It's obvious folks are TERRIBLY excited!! Hope the show runs at least as long as the press release thread does!
By the way, source it too, will you?---from a respectable news source...the word of one of the Keyesbashers won't cut it.
Sorry, my friend, you'll have to settle for #726...;-)
Good to see you!
Regards....EV
You insult me, EV.
Give me a little credit. Do you really think I'm stupid? Do you really think I've never seen or heard Alan Keyes, and that I'm just relying on other people's opinions to form my own? Do you think I did not watch the presidential debates? Do you think I did not see Alan Keyes peck and scratch at George W. Bush after the "Jesus" question? Do you think I don't watch Hannity and Colmes? Do you think I haven't seen his vindictive post-debate interviews? Do you think I missed his "Massah" performance? Do you think I missed it when he played the race card to the media? Do you think I do not know about his reference to George W. Bush and "evil" as it relates to the stem cell decision? Do you really need me to hold your hand, search the 'net, and give you precise quotes complete with dates, times, and other details to prove to you, clearly a Keyes lover, that I have any idea why I feel this way? Or is that I'm a female - and that gives you some right to suggest that I couldn't possibly believe what I say I do, and if I do, I haven't come to this conclusion thoughtfully or with enough data for my opinion to be legitimate?
Like I said, you insult me, EV.
This whole thing is dysfunctional and bizarre. I must tell you I do not appreciate being spoken to as though I am a child because I don't agree with you. Please, EV, wake up. I am not wrong, stupid, naive - or any number of other things you have so gently suggested - just because I think the man you follow so devotedly is a [insert your word for the lower posterior quarters of the animal of your choice here]. He is. And I think he is teaching his followers well.
Sorry I won't drink the Kool Aid, EV. I don't like the way it smells. I gotta put you on auto-ignore, buddy, because I won't spend my time debating with someone who doesn't respect me more than this. Good luck to you, and may the Lord bless, keep, and guide you.
Isn't this wonderful to see so much support for Dr. Keyes? What do you think of the possibility that there are converts who feel as though publicly they must 'trash and bash' to look good to the PTB, and yet in their heart of hearts know that Dr. Keyes is speaking to the truth of the matter in these instances?
Just a though. I'm rather bored with trying to come up with the actual reasons people do the things they do--how could anyone get so stirred up over a kid's hockey game, for instance, to the point they'd kill someone.....I AM JUST DEE-LIGHTED THAT ON THIS THREAD THE 'THEY' ARE DOING THE B-I-G B U M P for Dr. Keyes and his new television show....just not that many days away now!!! :)
The magic 750 is fast approaching.
So can anyone criticize George Bush without being considered all of those things you listed?
God knows someone had better be critical...power without accountability is a very dangerous thing.
In your view, obviously, the rank and file of the GOP should just shut their mouths and take whatever the party hacks in D.C. dish out...even if it is a gross violation of the platform, and of conservative principle.
No one is above criticism...especially the most powerful man in the world. God help us when he is.
Did you read today about the 'leader' of Zimbabwe?---he just passed laws making it illegal to critize him or his office. You can count on the fact that that country will soon be soaked in blood.
The people who harshly attempt to crush criticism of the President think they are doing him a service, when nothing could be further from the truth. These harsh attacks chill debate, and cause much constructive criticism to never see the light of day...until finally, tactical mistakes are made, and our REAL enemies are given the opportunity to politically kill our leadership.
You can accept what I'm saying, or reject it, (as I expect you will)...but that is how the real world works over the long haul.
One more thing. You can dispense with the disingenuous 'God blesses' and such...your tittering little posts with Southflanknorthpawsis concerning this did not set too well with me...they made the fairly nice parting we had last night seem totally phoney on your part...just when I was starting to think you might be a person who could get past the childish game being played by those you have chosen to join yourself to here.
I see you learned your lessons well from Dannyboy...
By the way, what ever happened to him anyway? He must have tired of defending the indefensible.
That includes Keyes too, right?
Evidently the point of my post went right over your head -- which is not that surprising.
Have no fear though: everybody else got it.
God bless you, too, Daughter, and a delightful 50 degree Florida evening to everyone!
No, Southflank. It does not. You haven't seen them do it (when asked to, they won't), and you have seen how viscerally they react when someone else does. There is a strange co-dependency going on here, and it is powerful.
Actually, it was obvious to all that she was graciously ignoring your gratuitous insult...I say good for her.
