The format will give factual information at the beginning of the show with historical/current footage of the issue.
The next block will have folks for a discussion to bring clarity to the principle involved in the issue. The people in this segment will not be familiar faces but everyday folks who can carry on a conversation with no agendas, i.e., college students, homemakers, former military, high school students, etc. Yes, you, too could interview to be on the show! There will also be phone calls, e-mails and a chat room running live during the show on the MSNBC website for commentary.
The third block will bring closure to the discussion, make conclusions based upon the principle uncovered in the dialogues. This part will have known names and faces on the talking head circuit. This will also be the segment wherein debate could occur.
That's a rough outline. I'm pretty busy right now, but I'll check back in later to see if I can answer more questions.

Maybe you can get it over the computer.

Good point!
I'd rather see Keyes work for the pro-life movement which is where his passion really lies. MSNBC will try to milk his sour grapes for Bush.
To: Jim Robinson
Thanks, Jim.

Actually, I'm looking forward to it. It will let people get a long look at Mr. Keyes. And since they rerun those shows all night long, there won't be much debate about what he DID or DID NOT say.
I'm thinking Charles Grodin.

Score one for PMSNBC.....I hope he doesnt sell out

It can work with tv....Alan's radio show was also shown in television.
Like you, I liked how he would let someon present their case, and then systematically break their argument aparat.....a real class act on breaking down the liberal's love affair with the Pervert!
I hope there's enough educational matter in the program, ie, Declaration issues, Constitutional issues....if there has been this 'reawakening' in the country since 911, this could be something big.
I'm still chuckling over folks who think his voice is shrill.....how on earth did he last at radio or tv so long....and it was he that gave up the radio show when he signed on to run in the 2000 election.
More than anything, I want to see the ideas and ideals come thru.
My big problem, dang it....I've got to consider whether I can take the PMSNBC to the point of buying the programing for my satellite!!! Wonder if you can purchase it by the 'hour', 6 hours, or ?

I'd rather see Keyes work for the pro-life movement which is where his passion really lies. MSNBC will try to milk his sour grapes for Bush.I agree. Even though I am a huge critic of Keyes I think he could do more good with his talent if he stopped trying to be a politician, requiring a wide range of focus, and instead dedicated 99% his time and gifts to the pro-life efforts.

Laura Ingraham- one of the most annoying radio personalities. It's not just her voice. It's her attitude and ideas. I don't know if she has any ideas, they are all GW Bush. And yes the attitude- the whining, the obnoxious silly antics, and constantly reminding the audience that she clerked at the Supreme Court.

Ping for a variety of hypotheses on how his show will fare.

PMSNBC's ratings must be hurting. I was in Baltimore when Keyes had a talk radio show, Its was at 9AM in the morning and I think the unintended result was to put people back to sleep.
I respect the man and like Buchanan he has a good idea now and then, but on the charisma, excitement scale of 1- 10, 10 being Rush, Allan Keyes is somewhere between -2 to -5, depending on the topic.
Still it will be nice for PMSNBC to have a token conservative.
To: Inspector Harry Callahan; LOL
All the best, Callahan!

I wish him well..I will most certainly watch his first show. I'd vote for him even...I just don't think he'd be good tv, but we'll see

Bob Dornan is an annoying twit. He was better than Loretta Sanchez, yet not as good as John Schmitz.
To: Clinton's a liar
Thanks so much, CAL.....I was hoping for something besides the same old, same old....now for my big decision!!
