I did. The first thing I would have done is call the White House. I would have done this before saying anything to the agent. The number is not exactly hard to find as it is in every phone book in the United States and many foreign countries. Then had the guy been a fruad he would have gone straight to jail not on through the airport sith a loaded gun.

That's easy to say in hindsight. The pilot's concern was for the safety of his passengers. In light of what happened on the Paris flight, as well as the others, I think the pilot did the right thing. Too bad if this agent's ego was bruised in the process - we're not living in the same world that we were prior to 9-11.
