In fact I believe that CNN was trying to show the Pilot was correct in throwing him off the plane. This caused Bush damage as Bush said he would defend his agent. Press simply played Devils Advocate on the first show. Tucker tried to make out like this agent was only after money. The lawyer said any money won would be donated to the 9/11 victims.
Recently CNN has been trying to at least appear somewhat un-biased and this is whY I believe Press corrected himself and cleared the Agent.
How do you explain the Pilot not alerting the Whitehouse that there might be a fake agent at BWI with a gun trying to board airplanes. Did he not know that BWI stands for Baltimore Washington International and was only 20 miles from the Whitehouse. This CSO was 1000 miles away and only contacted the White House after this Agent spent hours at the Airport being kicked off one plane because of mechanical problems then a second because of pilot problems. I don't imagine it ever occured to this agent that the Pilot would never do the right thing and verify who he was considering the Whitehouse was so near.
