"Freedom is indeed our highest value, and it is important to remember that to preserve it, one must defend both the conditions that make it possible, and the people that are capable of creating and maintaining it."

Interesting that you would mention freedom. One of the most important achievements of Western civilization is individualism which is inherently tied to freedom. You claim to be a supporter of freedom but still choose to judge people not based on their individual character and achievements but rather on their external characteristics. I know many highly achieved people who don't fit into your definition of an American but have greatly contributed to American society. Why do you want to throw out all foreign born people and not those, and there are many of them, of your own kind who have shown contempt for the values you claim to cherish and have proven to be failures in our society?

A while ago an interesting article was posted on FR about the development of quantum computers at IBM. I don't think anybody mentioned it on the thread but I noticed that the two leaders of the research had "foreign" names:

"Nabil Amer, manager and strategist of IBM Research's physics of information group.

"Isaac Chuang, leader of the research team and now an associate professor at MIT."

What do you think of these two people?

It's like asking what the Nazis thought of Einstein or other non-Aryan scientists. Had Einstein stayed in Germany, he'd have been tossed in the camps with everyone else. In short, you're simply not dealing with rational people.

Why they've chosen to infest FR I don't know. I wish they'd attempt to take over DU or the left in general. They have no place on the Right.
