I thought they were meeting to find ways to help support the President in the war on terrorism.

Bill C.: "I missed bin Laden by this {} much."
[Interpretation: I missed greatness by this {} much.]
Madeline A.: "We didn't have enough intelligence."
[Interpretation: None required; self-explanatory.]

Others even acknowledged the possibility that Clinton could "be portrayed as preoccupied with his reputation and not conducting himself appropriately for a former president."

No surprise here - he didn't conduct himself appropriately while president.

He "hoodwinked" enough of the American people to get elected twice.
And there is a frightening possibility his other-half may be able to do the same in the near future. She certainly succeeded in NY.

Maggie Williams now Bill's chief of staff? Is she Hillary's spy in Bill's headquarters?

According to the NY Times article, Hillary did not attend the meeting. I think it has to be regarded as almost certain that she was on the conference call.

Clinton (as well as many others), still thinks he's president with an agenda to promote. As usual, he still is his narcissistic self. For him, being president wasn't about the welfare of the country; no, it was always and still is, about him and his darn legacy. He will forever inject his face in the news to make sure that he won't be forgotten. This man needs to move on so that everybody else can too. Geesh.

"As The New York Times put it, Clinton is "frustrated" that his reputation has been "battered" since leaving office, most recently with all the talk of his failure to protect Americans from both Osama bin Laden and the current recession. As a result, he has decided to mount a "well-organized and aggressive" effort to save, not the nation, of course, but something nearer and dearer -- his face."

It's YOU Bill! It's all YOU!! It's YOUR world!!! The rest of us just live in it.

NOTE TO SECRET SERVICE

-- I am by no means advocating the assination of the former Commander in Briefs. And, Oh, by the way, your dedication to our currrent Commander in Chief, does In any way compensate for the protection that you provided to the DIRTPOTUS--

That being said, I would like to express and extend my remarks. While I will never in my own self commit such an act...

I WANT BILL CLINTON DEAD. I WILL BE HAPPPY WHEN HE IS DEAD. IF I AM ALIVE WHEN IT HAPPENS, I WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEFENSE FUND OF ANY LUCKY PERSON WHO EXTERMINATES HIS SICKENING EXISTENCE.

Again, to the US-SS. You could have prevented the Nation many problems and could have proved yourselves true patriots if you had actively worked to FOLLOW YOUR OATHES as duly sworn officers of the United States of America.

You didn't -- and as a result, you must accept your own portion of the blame for Sept. 11.

"1) Compile a list of his achievements for supporters to keep "handy"; 2) Build a staff to coordinate the appearances of "Clinton surrogates" on TV talk shows; and 3) Plan to "raise Mr. Clinton's profile on the lecture circuit."

I'm sure the Republicans will gather to counter this crew. Anything but stand and be accountable for what they really do.
