Here is another dope serving in the U.S. Senate---- Chafee says….: ""While we cannot ignore the unfortunate political situation in Cuba, the United States should not enact laws that exacerbate the suffering of the Cuban people," Chafee said. "We must recognize that the thirty-seven year embargo against Cuba has failed to acheive (sic) its aims, while inadvertantly (sic) increasing the hardships endured by average Cubans. I believe that it is time to formulate a new approach to Cuba in which the United States reaches out directly to the Cuban people, while being careful not to reward the Cuban govenment (sic) for policies with which we strongly disagree." (Dodd, Chafee, Leach, Serrano Introduce Bridges to the Cuban People Act)--Posted at Sen. Dodd's web site.

Who on earth would want to do that?

More liberal doublespeak. (BTW- the libs are always enacting laws to exacerbate the suffering of us - why not the Cubans?). Clinton used a similar argument in his war to promote Islamic terrorism.

You know, I really think the people are beginning to see through the liberal spin.
