I'm glad that Microsoft is finally putting this kernel into their consumer OS's. I think they didn't before because they wanted to keep supporting all that old DOS software.

You are correct. That was the stumbling block.

Weird question. I don't know if you actually work for Microsoft or are just their biggest fan. Question is as follows:

Will Microsoft add the ability anytime soon, perhaps in a XP patch for us to scale up the size of toolbars when we increase the display size? I have the setting at 1280x960 now and can't go any higher because my wife can't read the scroll bar when I go to 1600x1200 which I would love to do for super sharp wallpapers and the like.

Is this such a difficult fix for Microsoft to accomplish, are they aware of this problem for some folks?
