"Wilingham's record at Stanford was 44-36-1.....a worse winning percentage than that of recently fired head coach Bob Davie. But Davie lied about his academic and athletic background. That doesn't bother you? Are you saying that it doesn't matter that Davie lied so long as he does a good job coaching? Remember what Clinton's supporters said? They didn't care what he did in his personal life, as long as he did a good job as President.

Davie wasn't the one who lied about his record. It was the first guy they hired to replace Davie.

Davie's replacement, George O'Leary from Georgia Tech, was the one who lied about his academic and athletic background. I'm not sure why Davie was fired.
This is the result of more extortion and blackmail from Jesse Jackson.
