NJ used to be a conservative GOP state. Many New York City types couldn't stand the high taxes and housing costs and started to move in. Created the high tech soccer dad and mom suburban class who react emotionally to issues. Want low taxes but at the same time want to save the children. The Democrats know how to press their hot buttons and many times get their votes (and my wallet). When these idiots drive up the cost of living, they would move on to another low cost state and screw them up.
