Who are we to define what we think a Christian is? The Bible (God's word) clearly defines what we should do to become a Christian. It is not how we feel or what we think or our opinion on what a Christian is, it is how it is written: 1. Hear - Rom. 10:17 - "So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God." 2. Believe - Mark 16:16 - "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." 3. Repent - Luke 13:3 - "I tell you, Nay; but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." 4. Confess - Matt. 10:32,33 - "Whosever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven." 5. Be Baptized - I Peter 3:21 - "The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us..." 6. Live Faithfully - Titus 2:12 - "Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world." Rev. 22:18,19 says that we should not add nor take away from the word of God. So be careful of feelings that you add to and/or ignoring parts of the Bible.
