To all,

In years past, I have met up with friends at a little known monument on the ellipse. It is called the 2nd Division monument and it is between Constitution Ave and the Ellipse. This is what it looks like:

If you are standing at the rear of the Ellipse, facing the White House, with the Washington Monument to your rear, this small monument is to your left rear next on Constitution Ave.

How about tentatively planning to meet at 12:00 noon in front of this 2nd Division monument. (This is usually where the Connecticut and Massachusettes pro-life bus groups gather, but it is a quiet spot away from the crowd.)

Plus it is a good neutral ground for an ecumenical gathering of pro-life Freepers!

A bump. Just a note, I can't be there.

Thanks for designating a meeting place. I've printed out the map and will be there. Anyone know which Metro train to take from Union Station to get to this monument?

Sounds like a plan to me.
