The way I look at it is ... if a dealer has the time to rid himself of all the drugs he has in the short time it takes to reasonable answer a door ... he's a small time dealer and can be caught in other less draconian ways ... like undercover buys. A big dealer will not have the time to dispose of his stash in a knock at the door first search warrent exercise. ALSO busting a small time dealer especially if the penalties are not as severe as they are now would NOT be very dangerous as opposed to todays para-military crap.

IMVHO. If you have enough PC to smash in someones door and hold then at gunpoint, then you have enough PC to ram a blade into their Clay or PVC Sewer Pipe and analize the contents..

If it comes up postive.. fine..

Otherwise, you owe (Translation WE OWE) repairs, for the damage "WE" did..

Period.. No exceptions.. No loss of documentation.. On excuses.. Either you busted a dealer who tried to flush or you didn't..

No "Grey" Area here..
