You inablity to understand the legal principle behind the 14th is not my problem.

Prohibitions on private non-criminal activities or on privately held property violate a number of individual constitutional rights. As we see in the drug war. - 101 -

"No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws..."

Due process is following the law.

Indeed it is, if constitutional, non prohibitive law.

Prohibitons against private, non violent ownership of some mind altering property [drugs] are not constitutional, as per the 14th, as quoted & underlined above.

Selling and smoking crack IS a crime. There are laws against. When they arrest you for it, the law provides for a number of due process safeguards. You get a lawyer. You get a jury. If convicted, you get three hots and a cot.
