I went for the headline grabber. The headline is NOT my personal feeling on the topic, but I knew it would garner the biggest response. That is why I have tried to carefully explain my beliefs twice above.
If you notice PETA was not even mentioned in the photos stories, I made them up with regard to these photos I saw. All I meant by the headline is that I am not for eating dogs. I am quite careful with my language and PETA does not speak for me in any regard. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to clarify further.

Somewhere in the Indian press there is probably an equivalent article bemoaning the fate of that strange American delicacy, the cow. Certainly the Japanese haven't hesitated in telling the Greenpeace crowd to go screw themselves--whale meat is tasty, they say--and I'm sure that other examples could be found without much difficulty. When they're truly hungry, human beings will eat ANYTHING they can kill, shake out of the tree, or rip out of the ground; being finicky is a luxury that's only available to those who are already sufficiently well-fed.
