That explains some of it but not how a thread 1 or 2 years old got bumped that first time. There is no "hey I found this great thread and revived it", it just starts with new posts as though it had been there all along. I'm assuming (always dangerous) that they appeared on the board and they were taken to be current posts and then replied to. Check the jump in date and you will see what I mean.
