From what I've read and learned in Bible class (at my Lutheran church, Wisconsin Ev. Lutheran Synod) is that Islam was founded by a guy who could not read or write and had 'visions'. He was told in his visions that he was the prophet of god, and he called his god Allah. At that time, Allah was the name of a moon god in the area where he lived.

Muslims deny the Trinity, and say that Jesus was just a really good guy who got killed for claiming things he wasn't.

Actually, since they teach against Christian beliefs (deny Christ) they are a form of antichrist.

In the copy of the Koran my pastor has, right in the first page is a statement refering to killing all Christians and Jews. Cool, huh?

You know, most of what I just typed would be appropriate on that other thread that has "How to Tinkle Off Liberals" or something like that. Especially that my church is the Wisconsin EVANGELICAL Lutheran Synod! LOL!

I was told Mohammeds visions were a result of epileptic seizures. Someone I know (can't remember who) told me it was recorded that he had strange "fits" that fit the description of seizures. Mohammed also claimed his writings finished Jesus earlier imperfect work. (as if!)
