I was referring to Arab CHRISTIANS (forgive me for shouting, but sometimes old-agers are hard of hearing).
Heh heh. Actually my moniker means the reverse of new-ager, not somebody who is old. But I am old compared to some. BTW I am glad you yelled in this case.
Please do not fall into the trap of equating race with religion. There are plenty of Arab Christians, as there were on the very first day of the Church, when my ancestors and probably yours were worshipping rocks and trees.
Right. I don't think I would ever do that. I did misunderstand.

"Allah" is the word for "God" used by Arab Christians.

Unfortunately it's also the word American Muslims use to refer to the false god of Mohammed. Clearly the issue here is not the word used to refer to a deity, but the attributes and teachings of the deity. Some English speaking Americans could well refer to, say, Mark Twain as "god", but nobody would say that this fanciful sect had the same "god" as Christians do just because they both call their deity "god".

One of the symbols of belonging to GOD in the days of Abraham, was that GOD made them rich - rich in THINGS and possessions. It was known among all the peoples that the Jews were favored and received riches beyond reason.

Even today, Jewish people are rated by wealth. They rightly believe they are blessed by GOD; because they worship Him, they are rewarded. And ... the scripture does say, "HE is a rewarder of those that diligently seek HIM".

In Chapter 12 of Genesis, GOD told Abraham that He would bless those who blessed Israel. Well ... America has always been a staunch supporter of Israel; thus, America has reaped the reward of riches beyond most other countries.

In the Christian East, we have canons which forbid us to pray even with other Christians whose doctrines differ from ours on points which most moderns would regard as obscure at best. These canons exist precisely because the Holy Orthodox Church holds that those who believe in a different (and therefore, in the mind of the Church, false) conception of God are praying to a different god than the one known to the Church.

It is thus plain that the Allah prayed to by Arab Orthodox Christians(my bishop included) and the Allah prayed to by Muslims are different.

I understand what you're saying, but it's tricky ground. Jews and Christians differ substantially in theology -- not at all unlike the differences between Christians and Muslims. Does it make sense to say that Jews and Christians worship different gods? Or is it better to say there are important and irreconcilable differences, and leave it at that?

There is only one God, the Creator of the Universe. He is such, regardless of what word each human language uses as it's word for "God." If the Arabic word for "God" is "Allah", that's fine.

But He has also revealed to us the name that He calls Himself: YHWH in Hebrew, "I AM" in English -- NOT "Allah". He has also revealed Himself to us through the person and work of Yeshua of Nazareth, the Messiah.

This is not what Muslims believe, and they are mistaken. To what extent can they reject what the one and only true God has revealed of himself to us, invent some alternative fantasy, and then still be said to believe in and worship the "same God?"

You didn't answer my questions. I asked six specific yes-or-no questions. I sincerely want to know your answers, in other words "where you draw the line".

1. They DON'T have the same name.

2. They DON'T even have the same attributes.

The Koran was given to the prophet Mohammed - in a cave by an Angel of Light. I'm sorry to tell you, but you don't find GOD in a cave, and an angel of light is a messenger from satan - not God.

In their hatred of Israel, the Arabs have been accommodated by the devil with a "bible" to lead them into destroying the Jews. Why?? Because they want the land given to Abraham by God. They don't want a Palestinian state, they want the destruction of Israel so they can have the land.

There is one thing God does not do, promote conversion by lying or deceit. That would make God a sin promoter, which is completely out of character for God, and that is the most obvious evidence that the god Islam worships is not the God of the Christians or Jews.

"I and the Father are one" John 10:30

When a man and a woman marry, it is said that the "two become one". This does not mean that they are literally the same person. If my spouse and I are one, we are one in spirit, united in purpose and will. Isn't it possible that this statement holds the same meaning...that Jesus is united in spirit with the Father...having the same will and purpose? (and there you have Father, Son, Holy Ghost some would say.)

Another question. Does Jesus claim to be God anywhere in Matthew, Mark, or Luke? He does admit to being the Messiah, but did(do) the Jews think Messiah = God?

Anyone who disagrees with me about this, please answer the following:

1) Does God ignore all the prayers made by Muslims? YES, because they aree praying to satan!

2) Does God ignore all the prayers made by Jews? NO

3) Does God ignore all the prayers made by Catholics? NO

4) Does God ignore all the prayers made by Eastern Orthodox?NO

5) Does God ignore all the prayers made by Episcopalians?NO

6) Does God ignore all the prayers made by Lutherans? NO

Good grief. How much clearer could she have answered your questions. She quoted the living God about who He hears. Cultural Jihad thinks everyone who refers to God is talking about the same God. That's nuts. God has told us in thousands of words in the Bible over thousands of years exactly who He is, His emotions, His work, His plans, and on and on. He is not some unknown that anyone can name and use for their own purposes.

Also, people, Jesus is God. I can't believe some of the people posting here that don't have the foggiest idea about God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirt and about Satan and his great deceptions. God tells you all about false religions created by Satan to deceive people in order to keep them away from the true God. This is basic 101, but so many on this thread have no understanding of what God says in the Bible, yet they spout off all these opinions that are totally lacking in knowledge or wisdom.

Many people make up what they think God should be like (totally apart from God's own words in the Bible)and then they take this madeup God who is a figment of their own imagination and say they are spiritual, or have peace with God, or garbage like that. Whatever is in the hearts and minds of Muslims when they pray to God or Allah has no reference whatsoever to God of the Bible. That goes for the other hundreds of religions. You are able with no authority at all to start your own religion like you would a new game, name God as part of your new made up religion, call yourself a pastor, priest, or whatever. So, what do you have? Yes, a new religion and you and your followers can give it a name and all pray to your madeup "God".

If you would read the New Testament you would find verse after verse about Jesus' divinity. This is the whole basis of God's plan for salvation through the birth and death of Jesus Christ. Everything that was made was created through Jesus and it is Jesus that holds it all together. God made flesh.

God hears the prayers of those who have become his children through faith in Jesus Christ and by the new birth.
