When British mission commander Jack Hawkins tries to kill himself because he has been injured and is hindering the progess of the mission, American William Holden grabs him by the shirt and screams at Hawkins, "You're the one who forced me to go on this crazy mission and now we're going to see this mission through until its bitter end!"
