This is a story because our leaders make laws defining the world we live under. He father was a law breaking President, her mother is a law breaking Senator, and people like watching the high and mighty hit the ground.

According to one friend quoted by the Globe, Chelsea has turned to liquor "as a defense against jokes about her father and Monica Lewinsky and jibes about Hillary."

And that's what makes this whole story rather sad. I do feel sorry for her, not only because of her parents, but the fact that she has no one to turn to, that would listen without the possibility of turning around and selling their story from her to a tabloid

Maybe the reason you can't see why this is a story is you got here less than a week ago. Is this any less of a story than those published about the Bush daughters?

She's not a minor.

She is a minor intellect with minor looks and the self control of a 12 year old.

I am not sure people like to see the high and mighty fall (ok, there are some out there). I do not want Bill Gates to hit skid row, he has done a lot for the computer industry. I am perfectly happy that Jack Wells did so well at GE. I think, however, with the clinton's, we all have such a fear of the fake power that they possess. Whether it is the "lost" FBI files or simply stupidity, there are many followers of the trash family.

I used to feel so sorry for chelsea, her parents left her to be raised by the household staff, like Socks the cat. Now I fear she is being reared to continue the "dynasty". As corrupt as the rest of her family is, this would be tragic.

I think its terrible when the tabloids write about the Bush daughters, and its equally terrible when they write about Chelsea. These girls did not seek public office, they are not public figures and they should be left alone, it doesn't matter whether they are unfortunate to have a dad like Bill or lucky enough to have a father like the President.
Just leave them alone, tabloids!
