PITTSBURGH -- AIDS activist, author and playwright Larry Kramer underwent liver transplant surgery and was listed in serious condition Monday.
Kramer's doctors said his condition was improving and was about where it should be after the 12-hour surgery Friday.
Kramer, 66, spent seven months on the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center's waiting list. He moved to Pittsburgh in early November to wait for an organ to become available. While many transplant centers oppose the surgery for HIV-positive patients, UPMC's Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute has performed 10 liver transplants on HIV-positive patients since 1997. Eight of the patients have survived. Kramer's HIV has been relatively well controlled, but he suffered from end-stage liver failure caused by hepatitis B.

"...So, you have nothing to back up your asssertions that I am liberal and effeminate other than the fact that I asked you to back up your assertions that I am liberal and effeminate...Pathetically weak..." You mean I didn't convince you?
Wow...
This changes everything...

"...You can not convince me to believe something that is 100% wrong. Case closed. Go home to your odd universe where the sky is purple and logic does not exist..." Is this your last word on the subject?

"...I challenge you to post your thoughts on organ donation and/or the creation of two separate states as a vanity. Do you have the courage to place your beliefs in the public square for discussion?..." Jeez Peep, we've been doing that right here.
But now you want to do it again, stage it, frame it, diddle with it, use additional tax dollars (oops, I mean bandwidth) to repeat the whole process in some minutely different way.
Are you sure that you're not a liberal?

"...Post your thoughts on organ donation and two separate countries as a vanity so every Freeper can benefit from your wisdom..." Now you're giving orders, with a little buttering up tacked on the end.
Peep, Peep, Peep...
We know that you're not the kind of guy who can dominate people this way... This kind of failed attempt to command makes you look weak.
Now, I want for you to buckle down and sell me on this idea boy! Convince me that there's something in it for me to do this! Make me want to do it, Peep! Make me want it a lot!

"...Why wouldn't you want to present your ideas to a larger group?...Unless you really don't believe that nonsense..." OK! At least you're trying now. (sort of, anyway)
The answer to your question is that I really don't give a rat's ass what people think of my ideas.*
*Unless...
...theres a little long green involved.
You don't do well with subtle hints, so I'll be blunt...
How can you arrange for me to get paid (a lot) to do what you want me to do?
Answer that riddle, grasshopper, and you will have much power over me.

I would never knowingly do anything to keep the light in a liberal's eyes for a single second. Placing a higher value on the life of a conservative. By the way, you may be condemning a conservative or potential conservative to a shorter life by refusing to sign a organ donor card. If you can not recognize the idiocy of your position, then you must be impervious to logical or rational thought.
The flip side is he may be helping take out another future abortion doctor thereby saving thousands of humans.

Maybe only the politically correct can have livers or other organs. It really made no sense to deny someone who has a chance to live a liver so they could give it to someone with a terminal illness instead.
Well said!

By the way, my dad is a liberal. Would you deny him a life-saving organ donation?
Sounds like you're a chip off the old block...and your dad needs a brain transplant. I wonder how many died in the WTC/Pentagon attack because of liberal laws passed to protect the terrorists while they plotted amongst us? You need to direct your hysteria in the appropriate direction if you're worried about saving lives.

LOL Good comebacks!

"...LOL Good comebacks!..." Thanks.
I've been laid up the last couple of days with a touch of flu...
I feel like Jimmy Stewart's charcter in 'Rear Window', peeping at Peep, across the center courtyard...

And you would condemn possible organ recipients to an early death because of your hatred of gays?
Watch out gang! A McCarthyite Liberal is showing above! LOL "If you disagree w/me - I'll whine like mad and scream from the rooftops: YOU HATE ______(fill in the blank for needed group/gender/species/subspecies)"

If you saw a car accident, would you ask if the passengers were liberals BEFORE you saved their lives?
Best to check their wallets for voter registration cards!
