What brands of protein bars to you like? I've yet to find any that taste good.

I read through this thread while searching through a tin of Jelly Bellies. Can't say I have much of a craving anymore, since I already ate all of the 'good' ones.

So far I've tried the Atkins raspberry & their peanut butter bars. And the Biochem Ultimate Low-Carb bar (raspberry). The BULC bar melted too easily in my hand, so I've put all the bars in the fridge. The Atkins bars didn't taste too bad, esp. the peanut butter. The peanut butter bar reminded me of those peanut Carnation Instant Breakfast Bars I used to eat in college. (But the protein/carb figures are way different!) The texture of both brands of protein bar is like a dry Milky Way, but the raspberry seemed to have tiny bits of wheat chaff thrown in. (But tolerable, I guess.)

Our mailing shop gave us a tin of butter cookies today. Must go thru them to remove the temptation...

I can see taking along a protein bar when I go to the mall to shop. Currently I end up eating standard fast food at the food court & feeling bad about it.
