LOL ... Enron commercial.

I have often thought the wierdos who dream up those commercials are either "on something" or trying some sort of mind control!

Glad to hear someone else is annoyed by them!

Ah, yes ... Petula Clark! But PLEASE don't start singing the one she did about San Francisco and the "flowers in your hair"!

From Dave Barry's Book of Bad Songs, the following suggestions from his readers as to how the chorus of Oliver's "Good Morning Starshine" went had me near tears (of laughter):

Nibby nib nuby, nibby nobby nuby
Gliddy gloob glooby, nibby nabby nooby
Glibby glop gloopy, nibby nobby nooby
Yiby do diby, diby do bidy yadda yadda
Nibby nibby nibby, glibby globby glooby
Subba sibba sabba, subba sibba sabba, ho-ho, yo-yo
Gliddy glup gloopy, oobie flobba noobie, lie lie low low
Glimmy glop glubby, wam alama looby, sha la la la low
Nitty bloop bloopie, nibby nobby newbie, la la la, low low
Ippy moopy wa-wa, dinky soppy da-da.

Winston tastes good
Like a (snap!snap!) cigarette should.

Or as Buddy Ebsen put it once wearing his Beverly Hillbillies getup: "Winston tastes good like a cigarette had oughter."

Oh, hey!!! That Soviet Internationale that KFYI plays for the Charles Goyette show is really beautiful!! Every time I hear it, I wonder how commies could come up with something so beautiful! All those voices and the actual melody to me is outstanding! Can you tell me more about that one?

Charles is talking over it, about the Proletariat and Commie Tourist and Sports Authority, in case you out-of-Phoenix folks are wondering what we're talking about! We had a few stadiums (stadia?) shoved down our throats the past ten years or so, and Mr. Goyette is an outspoken critic of the TSA!

We used to hear that all the time up here in Canaduh, when we used to play a lot of hockey games against the Soviet Onion. I read somewhere that Prokofiev and Shostakovich hated it, but that was probably because their submissions to the national anthem contest (held during WWII, I believe) lost.

WOW! Now I REALLY am confused! How can a Commie even know what freedom is? I have to go to that site, tho' and listen to the tune.

It boggles my mind how blind people can be, and how they can stay that way!

Re: Singin' to your dog. I do that too. And to the rest of our critters. Makes em feel important, specially if I can squeeze their name into 'cry if I want to'.
