I think US voters will reward GW with a 2nd term no mater what is happening on the domestic front.

But, you can understand why it is that Daschole wants the economy to tank, he's so resistant to passing Bush's stimulus package, he wants to blane the Republicans, and Bush, for anything that goes wrong domestically, that way he can position himself, he thinks, to having a run for the presidency.
