That's true. It always disgusted me that the media act like the Ivies are the only colleges that exist. Every year, Time and Newsweek run articles with titles like "How To Get Your Child Into Harvard." (Realistic answer: Get in a time machine, go back 17 years and leave the kid on some millionaire's doorstep.) I always felt like I sucked because the Ivies didn't give me the time of day. Why don't they write articles like "How To Get Your Child Into Otterbein"? What's Otterbein, you say? I just proved my point.
Otterbein College is a private, independent, coed four-year liberal arts college founded in 1847 and affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Located in Westerville, a suburb of Columbus, Ohio, its 3000 students come from throughout Ohio, 30 other states, and 33 foreign countries. They choose fields of study from more than 36 unique majors and many participate in national as well as international programs in places like Washington, D.C., New York, Philadelphia, London, England, France and Spain.
I got your point. I cheated and looked it up. But youll be happy to know that I have heard of Ohio.
