Just like most of Wall Street and Hollywood. They just don't realise how much suffering they are causing themselves. Poor dumb bastards.

For every "creative genius" in Hollyweird or Wall Street who thinks their drug of choice makes them perform better, there are a thousand (or more) hookers and theives who wouldn't be able to hold down a burger-flipping job and do drugs if they were free.

That's not the point. Drug use, licit and illicit; and including alcohol, is absolutely rampant in the colleges and universities, "high-end" business, entertainment and finance communities across America. The rate of use is higher than in any other country in the world. It is worth noting that those particular American communities are also the most successful in history, world-wide. Mere coincidence, or something more?
