The difference between me and you is that I have an understanding of both countries. You know next to nothing about Britain and use articles like this to confirm your prejudices. It would not surprise me to learn that you had never even visited Europe.

And it really is a bore to have to keep explaining my position. I have said time and time again that I would always carry a gun in a US state where I was allowed to. I just don't think we need them in Britain.
