Hiya Lev!! Great to meet another bar-stool philosopher!! *G*

I don't have my original page, but I did buy that silly report. (So shoot me! *G*)

This is what's on there:

Your score is:
144

You scored 144 on Emode's IQ test. This means that based on your answers, your IQ score is between 134 and 144. Most people's IQs are between 70 and 130. In fact, 95% of all people have IQs within that range. 68% of people score between 80 and 120. The following chart shows these percentages and where your IQ score is on that scale.

How do you relate to other IQ test takers? Between 99% and 100% of people who take IQ tests score lower than your IQ score of 144.

What factors helped determine my score? If your score isn't as high as you thought it would be, remember that there are plenty of external factors that can affect your performance on the test. If you were tired, hungry or distracted, you might have scored lower than you expected because you were less able to concentrate.

Your level of formal education and your familiarity with taking these kinds of tests also influence how well you do. That's part of the reason IQ tests aren't a perfect measure of your intelligence. Your score would probably be quite different if the IQ test was designed to take into account your musical, artistic, emotional and social skills.

On their own, IQ scores can't predict someone's ultimate success or definitive potential for success. Many of the qualities that lead to great achievements are learned through culture, experience and schooling — not solely from doing well on an IQ test.

What your IQ test can help explain, however, is how your brain works best. By looking at the kinds of questions you answered correctly and the kinds of questions you answered incorrectly, we can tell you more about your intelligence type — the type that explains the kind of information that makes sense to your brain.

Your intellectual type is:

Ooooohhhh!! Plato, watch out! LOL!! More like, "Roll over, Plato!" ;-}

Phew, if they'd tested my social skills I'd have a minus IQ! *ROFL*

I will argue against this til the day I die; intelligence is not knowledge, it is the ability to acquire and use knowledge; logic and reasoning are in the end social skills but do predict intelligence when measured at an early age.

As with all my posts (polemics), this is my personal opinion and carries no scientific weight but if I am wrong then we should all score higher as we age, but, do we? I haven't; still at 140 +- 10 on the Stamford Binet scale.

This site is a "massage session" you can't score poorly, why, your feel-bads might get hurt.
