What about the question about which of the pictures didnt belong, the one with the large and small circles and squares overlapping each other as well as a small circle pointing up and a large square pointing down?
I chose the circles with the small circle overlapping on the lower half of the large circle. Anyone have any insight on that one?...JFK

What was the anagram? Algean? --- and the fruit question had me wondering which was out of place: coconut, apple, pear, grape, bannana (shape, size, sweetness, vine vs. tree, application) I suspect that with some questions there were multiple right answers that they used to interpret your "way of approaching questions".

I did best in the logic, and poor in the abstract shape BS. Funny, there was at least one of those I couldn't make heads or tails of, nonetheless the thing told me I did better than anybody else ever does on those, and about 90'th percentile on verbals which I used to do much better on when I was younger and smarter:
Your Ultimate IQ score is 136
Your Intellectual Type is a Visual Mathematician ...
Better than being blind mathematician I guess.

All were large and small pairs except one.

I may not be a genius...but I'm smart enough to avoid giving my email address, dob, and other personal info to people who "assure me" it's private...especially over the internet!Give them a Yahoo email addy, and fiction. I did! *G*

the anagram was England, of course a country. I answered the one about the animals that the kangaroo didnt fit, but I did it quickly. Maybe it was the mule, as it is (I think so anyway) the sterile offspring of a horse and donkey. Or is the donkey the sterile offspring of the horse and mule...JFK

A grape grows on a vine, the others grow on trees.

I think it was most unlike the upper quadrants of the first two examples. Your choice was opposite the diagram below it.
To: BADROTOFINGER
I thought of that too but went with the simplicity of four-legged travel vs two-legged travel. Standard tests are a lot like clothes off the rack.

As well as the 'its easier to flip the bird than to lend a helping hand' type questions.ROFLMAO!!!

Messing around with the test, I figured out I missed 2 questions, the last one and the other one that was the same question where there was a square, rectangle, 2 triangles and a circle. I noted that the same score could result in Visionary Philosopher, Facts Curator, and Visionary Mathematician, depending on the wrong answers.
To: Jack Barbara
I didnt think about that, I figured that the large belonged on the bottom and the small on the top, as the arrows on the different sized shapes in the answers seemed to indicate. Thats why I chose the circles with the small circle on the lower half and not the upper like the other two overlapping shape pictures...JFK

Congratulations, backup!
Your Ultimate IQ score is 142
Your Intellectual Type is a Visionary Philosopher Like Plato, your mind's strengths allow you to think ahead of the game to imagine or anticipate what should come next in just about any situation.
I didn't mess any either.
The variance in our scores must be due to our ages.
It looks like the thing peaks out at around 140 for adults.

I couldn't get the anagram one, but I eliminated oceans because it didn't spell any of them. I guessed a city, but I'm not sure.
I'm pretty sure the fruit one had to do with the four wrong ones growing on trees and the grape growing on a vine.

I scored 129, visual mathematician as well. The funny thing is that I took a test at www.iqtest.com and scored 155 on it! I liked that test a lot better!
I couldn't figure out the anagram to save my life. "England". OK, now I know that one!
To: SLJP
There's another test at
IQtest.com that's a little easier and scores higher, I did 160 on that one.

I guessed coconut because it has a hard shell, and the others can be eaten without tools. Goes to show what I know.

I did not change the score. Actually, with a test that is designed to cover a wider range of IQs, I am generally in the 165-170 range. This particular test, which claims that Bill Gates is around a 160 is an indication that Gates is more of a ruthless businessman than an innovator, something that many people would agree with.
As for our other "discussion", you have seemed to acknowledge that a private citizen can use deadly force and have changed your argument to be one that permits a jury to decide if deadly force was necessary in order for a citizen to arrest a fleeing felon. I would suggest that if a felon is fleeing, said felon is not submitting to an arrest by a citizen, deadly force is necessary. Given the situation in the NJ case, in which the criminals had indeed threatened the life of the defendant, a defendant in Washington would have been justified in using deadly force to apprehend the perps. At no time did I say or imply that a citizen had carte blanche to shoot a felon if the felon was not fleeing. That is where you made an assumption that was not reasonable based on the facts and the law. You see, those extra two points on the IQ test do mean something. You are obviously an intelligent guy, but you just lack specialized knowledge in interpreting the law that I have acquired over a period of time. As for contacts within the judiciary of Washington state, just call the State Supreme Court at 360-357-2077 and mention my name; they all know me, even by my FR screen name. After they ask why you are calling, they will refuse to answer any questions. They are very well aware of the fact that I am familiar with the laws on libel and defamation. Good luck!
You may view me as a bit of an arrogant smart ass, but just remember to place your emphasis on the word 'smart'. There are many people who will be regretting having overlook that particular word. Some of them will be going to prison for that particular oversight. As for the other words, I must plead "guilty as charged".
To: BADROTOFINGER
DUH! England! I even got the "land" part, but I never heard of anyplace called Negland! Wow, I feel dumb. However, that was the only one I missed.
To: Come get it
Visionary philosopher joining the club. SLJP, how do you know you didn't miss any? Did you buy the report? You only beat me by 2!Hello fellow bar-stool philosopher!! *G* Yup -- I bought the report, out of sheer curiosity. I majored in psychology, and I wanted to see how they went about factoring the scores. The report wasn't terribly enlightening, I'm afraid. It did let me know that I didn't miss any, though. (That was nice of it; I paid 15 bucks for that?? LOL!!)
