Seems to me that there should be a humongous lawsuit against the abortion industry for the costs of treating women with breast cancer who have had an abortion. These costs would be retroactive to 1965 and into the future as long as abortion on demand is legal.
WHERE THE HELL ARE THE AMBULANCE CHASERS ? !!

I support every argument in favor of life, and oppose every one against. Real pro-life folks would never support State-forced abortion. The "pro-choice" contingent however, lack the moral fortitude to stop any abortions...life leads to life, death leads to death.

Regarding the earlier ad hominem bit, I invite everyone to check out the profile, and agree or disagree with the contentions found therewithin. Just double-click on "Dr. Good Will Hunting" at the bottom of this message.

Let's look at this abit differently.....
You pro-lifers are living in a fantasy world if you think that abortion is going to be outlawed. Face it, women want and DESERVE control over their own bodies.
You pro-
arm folks are living in a fantasy world if you think that cutting off your
arm is going to be outlawed. Face it, women want and DESERVE control over their own bodies.
Face it, if a woman DID want her arm cut off, she'd be tossed in the looney bin
Face it, it's NOT control of HER body, it's someone elses!

The issue here is which side will have enough political savy to make civil law concur with their side. One rub is that murdering the innocent is not a civil issue. "What to do" about it is the hangup, not whether it's right-or-wrong. If it were undoubtedly "right", then the abortionists wouldn't mind everyone knowing all of the details.
To: StewartSmith
A tiny clump of cells in a womb is NOT a living, breathing human being. You are right here!
But it IS a living human being!
But, why then is there a law against FETICIDE?
Unless done by an 'abortionist'?
Shouldn't that merely be 'practicing medicine without a license'?

Isn't it odd how these so-called "pro-family" conservatives forget about the child once it's born? They'll work themselves into a froth trying to defend a tiny clump of cells in a womb, but once the baby is born they really don't give a damn what happens to it.
Oh, you REALLY believe this?
Do you have any FACTS to support your belief?
I guess it must be Pro-Choicers that are manning the adoption-not abortion alternative centers.....

I think you have hit on something which will be of immense value in the battle against abortion. Relative to politics of incremental change, this would indeed be a large increment. Thanks for the post.

BUMP....
It' funny how the pro-abort fanatics label every pro-life goal not possible...
They underestimate us, drastically.
And overestimate themselves, drastically.
We have genetics and morality on our side.
They have feminism and immorality on their side.
They will lose.
And then, there's the clincher:
God is on our side.

Thanks for the post.Thank you. I am not surprised at your combination of sense and compassion. I figured you were such a quality person when you addressed your message to GoodieD, who is all that as well.
God Bless!

Also if women want and deserve control over thier own bodies then why is prostitution not advocated by feminists?

Elsie, to affirm your point, you are 100% right: pro-lifers volunteer their time at Crisis Pregnancy Care Centers, while pro-death Planned Parenthood rakes in the cash for doing what they do.
To: StewartSmith
I have 5 children Stewart and was lucky enough to see my youngest when he was just 12 weeks in the womb. He had arms, legs, hands, feet, and he was bouncing off the wall of my uterus. He also rubbed his little head. If you dare tell me that you have seen the same and consider yourself informed AND STILL PRO ABORTION, I will pray for you. I had to say that lest I say something far worse :( SO
To: Elsie
Isn't it odd how these so-called "pro-family" conservatives forget about the child once it's born? This is your standard "shift the focus" tactic for abortion supporters. In most disputes, the one who runs out of meaningful supportive arguments first often reaches for the ad-hominem or non-sequitor to keep it going.
It can happen to anyone, but you'd have to have been in a cave not to have caught this one at least a few hundred times.
There is no rationalization for the killing of innocent life. Ending a child's life because you don't trust others to shell-out sufficiently for them is not even close to worthy of discussion.
To: EmmaPeel
Where did you hear that? That's the first time I've heard he cheats on his wife.

#49 -- I LOVE IT!!!
To: soccermom
He doesn't...anyone as famous as Mel Gibson is will be the subject of libel.
To: Dr. Good Will Hunting
That's what I would think. I don't know Emma's friend, so I won't accuse her of lying. But I imagine it would be quite exciting to tell friends you were propositioned by Mel Gibson. My dad is quite outgoing --- some would call it flirtatious -- but he would never cheat on my mom. Sometimes people misinterpret things. (Then again, I've heard Michael Medved be surprisingly cool to Mel. So maybe they know something we don't.)
To: soccermom
I've seen Mel Gibson in interviews, and he clearly enjoys flirting with female interviewers. Such flirting could be subjectively misinterpreted. He would never actually cheat on his wife of nearly 20 years though. He is a good and moral man.
