Have any Freepers seen it? I'd like to hear what a non-professional critic has to say about it.

I dont know how many times I've read the book because Ive lost count. but i get something knew out of it everytime. Middle-Earth is real to me and I would recognize it if I saw it.
this movie was everything I wanted and more it skipped some things which would have slowed the movie down. I like the way the movie added some things which werent in the book but could or should have been. It is obvious that the crew that produced this movie knows middle-earth as well or more than I do and it shows.
now go see the movie.
my fave scene: any scene with Legolas and his archery skills!
my pick for favorite line- samwise (paraphrase) "...I heard something about the end of the world..."

Now we know what happened to all the magic that was supposed to be in ''Harry Potter.'' It was crated up and shipped to New Zealand, where it was lavished on the superlative "The Lord of the Rings."I bet the Harry Potter people are glad that their movie came out first! It would've been a killer to have every review of their movie start out with an unfavorable comparison to the Lord of the Rings.
