Why are all the radio ads being run promoting ABC news and how great Peter Jennings is? Are they losing their ratings battle?

Since I only listen to WABC radio I can tell you they are on all the time at the top of the hour. Since it's their station I guess the ads run for free.......they are meant to be humor, aren't they???????????????????????

They are not really free as they could be putting paid ads during the slot. So they hav clearly decided to spend a lot of money promoting him.

Pete just wants to say 'hello' to his ex-viewers, and since Fox won't run ABC's ads, radio is the next best thing.

Could be that ABC has advertising inventory - time they can't sell - and rather than cutting prices to what the market will bear, is choosing to run self-promos touting the terror-backing commie canuck.

Ad revenue is down down down.......GOOD GOOD GOOD. Usually on Friday's Sam Donaldson comes on the early morning show at WABC to tout his sam and kooky show.....snidely bashing repubs and praising dems. He makes me sick......but then everything about the media makes me sick........I have come to rely more and more on my weekly edition of Washington Times and FR..........everything else is nothing but lies and more lies.

Sadly with the Whorealdo fiasco, FNC has stumbled badly. Let's hope Ailes stops trying to get a kiss from the lefties and gets his head straight.

weekly edition of Washington Times and FR . . . everything else is nothing but lies and more lies. In other words, you can be a well-informed citizen without daily journalism--and certainly without hourly news broadcasts.
Why Broadcast Journalism is Unnecessary and Illegitimate.
And claims to the contrary are deceptive advertising.

Yeah, and who are these "critics" quoted in these commercials? There are 4 or 5 statements praising Jennings and not one critic is mentioned by name. Who's falling for this?
