PS See how we agree on some issues in education? It's interesting to me how there is common ground between us. :)
Summer, my daughter went to elementary school in Dunedin. At that time, the district was so good that one had to go to Clearwater to even find a private school. She was part of a program called the Enhanced Learning Program (ELP). The children involved were sent once a week to Paul B. Stevens Exceptional Center. She received an excellent education in the public school she attended. I hope things haven't changed too much, but this was 20 years ago. I love what your wonderful Governor is doing for education.
We are all in Oregon, now. There is no way my grandchildren will ever see the inside of a public school here!
