[history]
A Florida company is poised to become the first to sell microchips designed to be implanted into human beings, an achievement that opens the door to new systems of medical monitoring and ID screening.
Implantable chips have long been discussed by technologists and denounced by those who object on religious grounds or fear their use by a totalitarian state. But the company that did the test, Applied Digital Solutions of Palm Beach, said the specter of terrorism is shifting attitudes. The direct union of man and computer is no longer dismissed out of hand.

I believe (I hope) that people will be more resistant to this idea than the mainstream press understands. If not, that's all she wrote, as the saying goes.

It would be possible, if done correctly, to implant a chip thru a newborn's skull. They could do it before the child left the delivery room. Impossible for recipient to remove it short of serious brain surgery. After all, The Beast wouldn't want it to be removed, right? And Revelation does talk about getting the mark on the hand OR the forehead. Scary.

To all the people that own cell phones. They can track all of you. The cell phone is a beacon that can be tracked and zero in on your position. They can see where you are and where you have been. Big brother is everywhere. This implant thing is nothing new. Instead of a locator in your pocket, it will be under your skin. If you think that at any time you are hidden from big brother, think again. They can track you not only by your cell phone, but also your credit card, speed pass, toll pass, phone cards. The list goes on and on. Even if you pay with cash, the register clerk asks for your zip code or phone number or some sort of identification. So, ok, you will not use a credit card or phone card or cell phone. They will still see you on the survalance cameras in the mall, parking lots, on the roads, in stores, at the atm. So why cry about the implantable devices. It is too late to change the new world order. That choice was taken away because too many of you were too lazy to bother to vote. So the politicians that paid the homeless, the criminals, and the winos to vote for them won the elections. Big brother and the new world order is here to stay. Be carefull of what you say about big brother. Don't want the black helicopters to pay you a visit.

I suggest a five year trail test-run. Implant them in every politician and bureaucrat. The chips could send signals to the Internet so that we could all eves drop on them. Just to see for ourselves how depraved they really are. If they have noting to hide then why should they mind.
Plus it would be a real boon for the ostracism database. Read more about it here.

things seem to be happening...faster. I don't know whether to spend all my free time at the rifle range or looking for a remote island to inhabit. Annoyances like "work" and "friends" get in the way of justified paranoia.

This summer I met a couple who live like this:
The Sailboat Escape-Pod Option when they want. If you could do that you could take your time in finding that island.

APPLIED DIGITAL SOLUTIONS Thermo Life
Thermo Life is a thermoelectric source generating power in concert with a thermoelectric principle that converts heat flow directly into electrical energy.
Wherever a temperature difference can be used, it is a self-generating energy source with an output of approximately 10 µW at voltages in the volt range.
Based on a temperature differential gradient, heat always seeks a cold surface. The Thermo Life generator when attached to a cold surface collects heat until it warms up to the same temperature as the heat moving to it.
Applications
The Thermo Life power generator is a new energy source for micro and sensor systems in consumer and medical applications, such as
- attachable medical devices,
- electronic wrist watches,
- self powered heat sensors,
- mobile electronics
Power Storage
Advanced Power Solutions has entered into a joint venture with Front Edge Technology. The technology solution presented through this joint venture portrays Thermo Lifes body-heat, thermo-electric generator as creating constant electricity whose flow is contingent upon body heat. Front Edge Technologys NanoEnergy can be viewed as a technology capable of storing energy that flows to it and releasing that energy in a specific capacity over an extended period. This combination creates a tiny, reliable and self-generating power source that does not require constant contact with the body and is void of toxic or hazardous materials.

He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, {17} and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name
Revelation 13:16, 17
You know, it's almost enough to make you forget that Revelation is a purely-symbolic book full of symbols all boiling down to general, spiritualistic, billowy, vague thoughts about the present (?!) reign of Christ over the earth and the saints' enjoyment of rest and victory (?!!) in Him.
