I have been so swamped with kids and Christmas I haven't been around for the past few weeks. I'm so glad I logged in today!
I am so frustrated. My husband came home last night and told me that Riordan was going to win, that there was a poll that showed he had all this support, and he wasn't even going to vote because it didn't matter
I got so mad at him! I started ranting about how it's attitudes just like his that give us liberals like Davis and Riordan, and we have a moral duty and obligation to vote, especially when we have someone like Bill Simon to vote for!
These polls don't mean anything now anyway because it's Christmas! No one is thinking about the election, and Richard Riordan has all the name ID because he was Mayor of Los Angeles. I think that when Mr. Simon gets his message out that people will be voting for him because he has the best ideas and the best message and people will look at him and listen to him and vote for him!
Anyway, I think my husband regretted opening up that can of worms! But he will be voting for Mr. Simon if I have to drag him to the polls myself! (Sorry, honey!)
So, the moral of this story is, if Mr. Riordan wins the primary he will lose the general, and we only have ourselves to blame. So, fellow conservatives and Freepers and real republicans, make sure that you not only vote but tell everyone you know to vote for Mr. Simon because being part of the grassroots really really works.
