Not really. A "falling away" is referenced in the Bible and if this isn't what it was talking about it is probably real close.
Once something is demonized many will bend over backwards or is that "have their head spin around 360 degrees" to conform so as to be "acceptable".

Sometimes God's peace in you just shows through and there is nothing that can be done. Folks see it, are angered and react without really knowing exactly what it is they're angry at you about. They just know you have something they lack and want it too. They just won't ask what you've got. Many would probably think you're stoned or something.
